Objectives
- Critically appraise emerging and evolving evidence related to lifestyle and therapeutic interventions.
- Integrate evidence-based approaches into clinical decision-making for common and controversial topics, including patient selection, risk assessment, and counseling strategies.
- Enhance practical skills in patient counselling by addressing benefits, risks, and misconceptions surrounding popular health interventions and treatments.
- Apply principles of effective team-based care to improve collaboration, address challenging behaviours, and optimize patient outcomes in family medicine settings.
- Identify gaps in current evidence and areas of ongoing debate, enabling clinicians to engage in informed discussions with patients and adapt to emergency trends in primary care.

- More than 21 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $200).
- Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.
Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair, CPD Director or the Managing Director.
