Opportunities for offering formative feedback (or assessment for learning) in the classroom are plentiful. In this workshop, participants will review characteristics of effective formative feedback, practice giving written feedback in two activities, and consider other opportunities for offering feedback in their teaching contexts.
At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Apply principles of formative feedback
2. Introduce or modify feedback practices in their teaching context.
