A How-To Guide to Difficult Conversations about Whiteness

This workshop will be preceded by a Panel Presentation with Drs. Delia Douglas, Marcia Anderson and Ian Whetter from 12 – 1 pm.

- Equip workshop participants with vocabulary and tools to initiate and participate in conversations about whiteness and racism
- Increase awareness of the different needs and strategies when conversations involve BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) folks
- Explore other power relationships and dynamics that will need to be attended to during these conversations
