Shannon Nichol

Shannon Nichol, Dip. DH, RDH

Shannon Nichol is a graduate of the dental hygiene program from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology. She has over 14 years of clinical experience working in general practice and includes 11 years in periodontal practice settings. Shannon has experience as a clinical instructor in the Restorative Dentistry Department at the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry. She is passionate about pain management in the dental hygiene profession
as it allows hygienists to provide effective hygiene treatment.

Our Mission

We provide evidence-informed educational opportunities to medical professionals in order to support life-long learning, competence, and sustained practice development, in a culturally safe and responsive manner, also considering the context of team-based care.
