• Identify and address the unique considerations related to cannabis use among adolescents, in the primary care practice. (Scholar, Advocate)
• Demonstrate an inclusive and equitable approach to setting up your visit space when providing care for patients who face various physical limitations and specialized needs. (Communicator, Collaborator, Advocate)
• Recognize systemic and personal biases that impact patient care through case-based teaching/learning scenarios. (Leader, Advocate)
• Apply EDI and restorative justice principles to enhance inclusive, accountable, and patient-centered care. (Advocate, Professional, Communicator)

Study Credits

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for up to 4.5  Mainpro+ credits.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for a maximum of 4.5 hours.

Participants should only claim credit for the actual number of hours attended.

Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy:

• More than 21 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $200).
• Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.

Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair, CPD Director or the Managing Director.
