Objectives
- Enhance clinical skills in dermatologic examination and management, with a focus on early detection, evidence-based treatment, and patient education in both acute and chronic skin conditions.
- Diagnose and manage common pediatric and adult dermatologic conditions in primary care, including chronic eczema, psoriasis, and undifferentiated skin rashes.
- Identify and differentiate dermatologic cancerous and precancerous lesions and apply appropriate surveillance and referral strategies for skin cancer.
- Recognize dermatologic signs that may indicate underlying systemic diseases, such as Lyme disease, and integrate this knowledge into broader clinical assessment.
- Incorporate principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into dermatologic care by recognizing how skin conditions may present differently across skin tones and adapting diagnostic and treatment approaches accordingly.

Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy:
- More than 21 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $200).
- Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.
Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair, CPD Director or the Managing Director.
