Objectives

At the conclusion of this learning event, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the 3 stages of ingrown toenail. (Family Medicine Expert)
  • Identify and explain the possible complications of untreated ingrown toenails. (Family Medicine Expert, Communicator)
  • Review and explain the non-surgical management of ingrown toenail with patients. (Family Medicine Expert. Communicator)
  • Identify the indications and apply the techniques of different surgical modalities to treat ingrown toenail and explain the pros and cons of each. (Family Medicine Expert, Communicator, Leader)

 

Registrants must complete the following required documentation

  • Needs Assessment
  • Session Evaluation
  • Mainpro+ Post-reflective Activity

These documents will be sent to registrants via email or handed out during the event.

Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy:

  • More than 14 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $100).
  • Less than 14 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.

Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair or the Program Director.
