Practice Supervisor Workshop – September 10, 2025
Description
Learn about the roles and responsibilities of a practice supervisor, including:
- How to deliver effective feedback
- How to perform a chart audit
Objectives
At the conclusion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of a practice supervisor
- Conduct a chart audit using the supplied tools
- Conduct a chart-stimulated recall discussion
- Provide feedback to a supervised physician
Participants are required to complete a pre-workshop, self learning module prior to attending the live session on September 10, 2025. This material should take ~ 2 hours and 20 minutes to complete. The material will be available in your CPD account for those who have successfully registered.

Registration
All registrants: $600.00 Limited to 20 participants.
The live workshop will be delivered online via Zoom only. Connection details will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours in advance of the session date.

This event was co-developed with the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba and was planned to achieve scientific integrity, objectivity and balance.
This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for up to 6.5 Mainpro+ credits.
This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the CPD Medicine Program, University of Manitoba for a maximum of 6.5 hours.
Participants should only claim credit for the actual number of hours attended.
The University of Manitoba CPD Medicine Program is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME)
Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy:
- More than 21 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $200).
- Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.
Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair, CPD Director or the Managing Director.
