Advances in Labour and Risk Management (ALARM) for Family Medicine Residents Only – July 9 & 10, 2026

Residents: Please only register for this July 9 & 10, 2026 ALARM course if you are contacted/advised by Shannon Rankin
ALARM is a course designed to train residents to improve patient outcomes and the process of intra-partum and immediate post-partum care. This two-day course offers case-based and hands-on workshops. After you register, further details will be communicated to you from the Department of Family Medicine Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) Program Coordinator.
July 9 & 10, 2026
Day 1: Thursday, July 9, 2026 = In-person session
Day 2: Friday, July 10, 2026 = In-person session
Registration:
Open to Department of Family Medicine residents only.
Cost: $780
Cancellation Policy
In accordance with CPD Medicine policy:
- More than 21 days’ notice: A refund will be issued, minus a 20% administrative fee (up to a maximum of $200).
- Less than 21 days’ notice: No refund will be provided.
Special refund requests may be submitted to the event coordinator for consideration by the Scientific Planning Committee Chair, CPD Director or the Managing Director.
