To achieve tenure and promotion, new faculty need to develop effective strategies to balance teaching, research, and clinical service. Join Dr. Lorrie Kirshenbaum, Director of Research Development in the Max Rady College of Medicine, and Guest Speaker Dr. Charles N. Bernstein, Distinguished Professor of Medicine in the Max Rady College of Medicine, to develop a foundation map for career development, goal-setting, and time-management for basic and clinical faculty.

By participating in this workshop, participants will

  • define value and skill sets for promotion and tenure,
  • Identify key components of a professional portfolio, and
  • identify goal setting and time management for achieving promotion and tenure.
